Know Myself is just the start of my career as an artist. This piece represents me living a full and well lived life. To embrace any obstacles that come my way and strive past them to always better myself which is the reasoning behind my extended arms in front of the tree of life to accept my destiny.

Opportunity.. Endless Possibilities.. Destiny.. The Dream State depicts a figure encountering his universe which is endless and realizing that any and every decision that he or she makes leads him or her to further options and start to construct their own future. The figure is also facing away from us so it doesn't represent just one person. This piece strives off the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Struggling to embrace death and staring him in the face and having the courage to say, "NO!" Just when the man thought that his life was over, the hand of God brings him back which is how I envisioned my father's drowning experience when he served in the Marines,

Hope was my attempt to inform others of the importance of pollution clean up. The dried leaves symbolize death and how pollution keeps destroying mother earth but there is still hope for humanity because leaves grow back. We could change. We can learn from our mistakes.

No matter what you may be going through in your life, there is always someone who can relate or that is going through the exact same thing as you. This was a rough time for me because of family issues along with personal issues that I wanted to communicate to anyone who would listen because All Lives Matter.

Serenity; being my favorite piece, is the concept of peace and tranquility. It can be hard at times to find a way to be calm and take the high road especially with daily distractions. I interpreted this concept and made the disturbances of the noises of a busy downtown street and although these disruptions occur, I can find a way to block them out and focus.

This piece was another piece that tackled pollution because I wanted it to resemble an ocean of trash hence the chip bags. But in this demise there is life and that's why the DNA is almost tree like because all life has DNA.

Beast was my attempt of a sacred vessel. I know that lions represent the king of the jungle and the mightiest creatures so they have self confidence which represents identity which is sacred to people for we are all different.

This was my choice piece and I wanted to do something with pencil because I missed just sketching and drawing so I grabbed some white charcoal and I started to create on black paper which ended up being this.

Ever since I was a little boy I would love to get my hands dirty and play outside and found nature absolutely amazing. In a way, my pictures show apart of my being because to this day I still prefer to spend my time enjoying anything outside.

Unlike the rest of my pieces, I wanted the theme to stand out and be obvious. This piece can relate to everyone because at one time or another, everyone has desired something. I just happen to have made it seem sexual but desire can be triggered by anything.

Ever wonder how something so cute can turn into something so vicious? With the aid of an oil pen and just black spray paint, I was able to represent that we all look at certain things in life differently because of previous information. We are programmed to fear what we do not know. Beast addresses deception and questions the way we look at things because of certain information such as religion or culture.

Road. Broadway. Skyline. All three of these photos capture that moment that was so picture perfect that it would've been unjust if I didn't share these moments. We live in a world that you can't afford to slack off and miss opportunities. Skyline represents endless opportunities to find what you truly desire and want from life. Road represents a lone path that we all travel to find ourselves. Broadway represents the idea of going out in the world and making a name for yourself and be fearless.

Rapture. A wide range of color hues that formulate ideas and feelings to viewers based on the smooth, visible brushstrokes from dark to light color contrast. Rapture displays the theme of joy, showcasing a rough start represented with the dark hues but there is always joy and happiness in everyone's life which is represented by the peak of bright blues and reds.

A chaotic world. The array of splattered paint throughout the piece like stars in the universe displays chaos because there is no start or end to the rapid movement throughout the piece. I wanted to relate this piece to the world that I live in today with all of the chaos of terrorism, war, mass shootings and everything else that makes this world so fragile.
